  • Direct PPL: AUD $19,500

  • PPL via RPL: AUD $21,500

Our Private Pilot Licence course builds on the skills developed during recreational flight training, preparing students for more advanced flying and navigation.

Flight Training Hours

  • 18.3 hours dual flight training: Practical flying lessons conducted with an instructor.

  • 5.5 hours solo flight training: Develop independent flying skills and confidence.

  • 2.8-hour flight test: Demonstrate the required flying competencies for your Private Pilot Licence.

The course is delivered on a part-time basis, allowing you to book flying lessons around your personal commitments and availability.

Prerequisites

  • Class 1 or Class 2 aviation medical certificate issued by a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME)

  • Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)

  • English Language Proficiency Assessment

PPL Training Pathway

Your Private Pilot Licence builds upon the Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) syllabus.

Students undertaking the PPL course complete the relevant RPL syllabus as part of their training. As students progress towards the PPL theory examination and flight test, Falcon does not separately charge for the RPL theory examination or RPL flight test.

Training Details

Important Information

The total cost of flight training depends on each student's individual performance and progress. Students requiring additional lessons beyond the advertised training package will incur further costs.
